Frequently Asked Questions
What is an Energy In Case system?
Energy In Case is our line of all-in-one portable power stations — a lithium battery pack, BMS, and output management built into a rugged case. Available in 1.4 kWh, 1.6 kWh, and 2.5 kWh configurations across 24 V, 36 V, and 48 V voltages.
Can I order a custom voltage or capacity?
Yes. We manufacture custom configurations to spec — voltage, capacity, cell chemistry, form factor, and connector types. Submit this form with your requirements and we'll follow up with a technical proposal.
What cells do you use in Energy In Case systems?
Standard configurations use Molicel P50B (21700) cells, delivering high cycle life and thermal stability. Upgraded options with Samsung 50S or Amprius SA17 cells are available on request for higher energy density or specific performance targets.
What is the warranty on Energy In Case products?
All Energy In Case systems carry a warranty guaranteeing more than 80% capacity retention after 2000 full charge cycles under normal operating conditions. Extended warranty terms are available for volume orders.
What is the minimum order quantity for volume pricing?
Volume pricing starts at 5 units. For orders of 15 units or more we provide a tailored commercial offer including lead time, delivery terms, and optional customization. Use this form to request a quote.
What are the lead times?
Standard configurations are typically available for self-pickup in Berlin within 1–5 business days. Custom or large-volume orders have lead times of 3–6 weeks depending on specification and quantity. We confirm exact timelines in the quote.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship via FedEx to most European countries and select markets worldwide. Battery packs and energy storage systems ship as Class 9 dangerous goods — we handle all DG documentation. Shipping costs and import duties are calculated at checkout or quoted for bulk orders.
How is an Energy In Case different from a standard battery pack?
An Energy In Case system includes an integrated BMS, charge management, and output ports — it's a self-contained power unit. Our standard battery packs are raw packs designed for integration into your own system (e-bike, drone, vehicle, etc.) and require an external charger and BMS interface.
